Elizabeth Thompson, M.Ed., LPCA, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (#292341) and National Certified Counselor under the supervision of Chelsea Clements, LPCC-S (#272603). She holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health and Military/Veterans Counseling from the College of William and Mary, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. Before opening her own private practice, Elizabeth was an outpatient therapist at a community mental health center for two and a half years, providing accessible counseling to the community of Pikeville.
Elizabeth is a late-diagnosed AuDHD counselor, who brings a wealth of lived experience into the therapy room. She is also an ex-military spouse, formerly living in Fort Bliss, TX. Knowing firsthand the difficulties of finding a counselor who understands, Elizabeth is committed to offering personalized, neurodiversity-affirming & trauma-informed care. During her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her dogs, Abby, Ally, and MooMoo, and going to the lake with her sisters.
